I just watched Zeitgeist Addendum, the second installment from Direct Peter Joseph which unveils the lid on the Federal Reserve, and shows a vision for what the human race could be achieving, if the scarcity of our monentary system and political/corporate agenda was not in our way.Â
I can honestly say it has moved me - as someone who was very skeptical of the first Zeitgeist due to believing in Jesus Christ, Mohammed and other prophets (but more on this later). I truly think the revolution is coming, but unfortunately I think things are only going to get darker, before the rainbow appears.
I was reading some other reviews on the original Zeitgeist, and what I read made me sigh.
I think its quite funny that we all feel the need to fight with each- over different opinions.
If you truly were Christian you would understand that you need to love everyone no matter what they’re beliefs are, and you would understand that a world at war with itself is doomed regardless of whether Jesus lived or not.
If Jesus lived today he wouldn’t care if everyone agreed with him on every subject he put forth, he would care that we want to better ourselves and those around us. IMHO.
Even if Zeitgeist isn’t 100% accurate and does have its own agenda (because nothing is free from having an agenda), let me ask you a question…Are you happy the way things are? Or would you prefer a peaceful world without war, material gain and social status?
If you find yourself rolling your eyes like this is not possible, then you are on one side of coin and although i respect your opinion, i think that you are only helping those in power, and anyone who believes we can make this happen is on the other side of the coin, and we will create a positive change to humanity - no matter what your spiritual beliefs are.
Its not a case of whether jesus exists, its a question of what we need to do to be at peace with ourselves, and we NEED to get rid of our corrupt government and monentary system so that we can move forward - and start exploring ourselves and the world around us like ‘god’ or ‘creation’ intended, and not living shitty lives where we do mundane work for vast periods of time, we were not born into this world to drive a bus every day, or work for money, we were born to express our true selves.
One day, this will happen. sooner than you think.
Anyway back to Zeitgeist Addendum -
The Federal Reserve farce is something i’ve known about for quite some time now, and with a recession looming I think this movie has come out at the best possible time to advocate a huge revolution towards destroying these institutions peacefully.
Anyone who has read The Duty of Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau knows that it is very possible to change a system when the system stops working - therefore if we stop feeding the machine the machine becomes obsolete - we do not need to resort to violence, this will only cause martial law, something that benefits those in charge.
I found the Venus Project very interesting, and I think our generation has the chance to move humanity into this path - but this would mean being completely self less and because of the conditioning and fear that would come from people not being paid for work, it will take a long time to change peoples beliefs.
thats my opinion anyway
all in all, Zeitgeist 1 and 2 are very though provoking, and anyone who is ready to start questioning the world around them should watch them both immediately by visiting video.google.com.
